2nd Annual Fish-O-Rama Fishing Tournament

General Information

Tournament begins at 6AM, no fishing is allowed before 6AM. Weigh-in station at Port Neches Park Pavilion opens at 12PM and closes at 3PM.

Entry fee is $300.00 per team (3 anglers maximum per boat, includes kayak teams).

  • Teams may enter until July 28th at 5PM on-line or in-person at the Captain’s Dinner.
  • No entries will be accepted on tournament day.

One team member from each team is REQUIRED to attend the Captain’s Dinner.

Tournament fishing is limited to public waters only and is limited to coastal, tidal tributaries of Sabine Lake, Galveston Bay Complex, or Lake Calcasieu. Fishing in Lake Sam Rayburn or Toledo Bend is not permitted.

  • Fishing is allowed from a sport boat, public fishing piers, jetties, shorelines, wade fishing and kayaks.

By City of Port Neches ordinance, no alcohol will be allowed on Port Neches Park property.

All persons fishing in a boat must be registered tournament participants.

The Tournament Committee reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the tournament for safety reasons. Once the tournament starts, it will constitute a Tournament.

Winners will be subject to a Polygraph Examination (lie detector test) at the discretion of the tournament director. Refusal to submit or the failure of a Polygraph Examination will result in disqualification from this tournament and all future tournaments. Any contestant determined by the polygraph examiner or other tournament official to be intoxicated and/or on any type of illegal drugs during tournament hours, will be disqualified.

Teams are allowed to weigh-in fish and compete in only TWO of the four categories, per team.

Any fish weighed in ALIVE will receive a .50lb bonus, per fish.

Payouts per category for Heaviest Stringers (non-side pot) – 1st – $3,000, 2nd – $1,400, 3rd – $950, 4th – $600, 5th – $300.
